Showcase – Ireland’s Creative Expo is one of the country’s largest international trade shows. Over 4,000 buyers visit the event from across the world, including Ireland, UK, USA, Mainland Europe and the Far East, generating sales orders of over €20 million during the four days of the show.
Our brief post-covid was to create something fantastical. Conscious of the harsh realities that Covid had imposed we wanted to create a suite of visuals that created a welcome distraction for makers and buyers alike. We responded with a bold imaginative and enticing campaign for the 2022 expo.
Using a curated set of art directed product photography we set about constructing a series of kaleidoscopes using these images that covered the three main categories for the expo: Jewellery, Fashion and Home/Gift. These became the main visual assets for branding the expo from wayfinding and print promotions to animation and online communication.
